Anger Management
(2 sections)

I have no trouble believing that fatherless males can carry anger.

I would like to find a reliable, self-administered Anger Test
that fatherless adult children can take to help identify personality issues
that point to anger problems within.

Then, attending an anger management class would be helpful.
ANGER MANAGEMENT

Speed Limits

One baby-step in anger management is:
to not get angry at people who want to obey the law.

So many hotheads get mad at people who intend to obey the speed limit.

Hotheads are bound to have difficult lives, for they will keep reaping consequences
for hating people who submit to the law.

This is one type of anarchy. And if we demand to live by our own rules, we will also expect others to let us live by our own rules. And in the case of tailgaters, we will demand that others obey
our rules instead of obeying the real laws.

People have the right to obey the real laws - without having others angry at them.
Each of our lives will reflect how willing we are to let others peacefully obey the law.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

Fear

I learned decades ago that anger is often the result of fear.
When we spot an oncoming loss on the horizon,
we energize ourselves to prevent or recover from that loss,
which sometimes involves anger toward people, to minimize their harm to us.

Let's look at a couple of Bible verses that link fear and anger:

Psalm 103:
8: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.

Why is God slow to anger? Because no one scares God. Think about it.
No one can shorten his lifespan.
No one can steal anything away from him.
He is untouchable.

And look at what the Bible says about mature Christians,
who trust in Christ to look after them:

James 1:
19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this:
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,
20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

If you are easily angered, ask yourself,  "Does this scare me? "
If so, ask: "Why?"
