Unknown Fatherlessness

Stolen Babies

If I could pull 1,000,000 fatherless men into a video conference
a few of them would be surprised they were called.
They are stolen babies and they don't even know it.

I am a crime show buff. Crime shows are a good way to study people at their worst.
Late 2023, I watched an episode where a US woman began living with a man who wanted a child.
She brought previous children into the relationship and had her tubes tied years earlier,
but her new boyfriend didn't know that.

Yet, since he wanted a child with her, she pretended to be pregnant, and at the proper time,
she looked through the birth notices, located, stalked and killed a new mother using a knife,
and took home the three-day-old baby home as her own.

While naive and low IQ men might fall for this scam,
she was turned in by a female neighbor for bringing home a baby
because the neighbor knew she wasn't pregnant - she brought home someone else's baby.
She was tried, found guilty and sentenced to decades in prison.  Wow.
The baby was reunited with the biodad - to grow up without a biomom.

'gran-dopted'

I knew of a man, born about 100 years ago.

One day as teen, he had a doctor's appointment.
During his talk with the doctor, he mentioned his dad.
The doctor told him he needed to discuss his biological heritage with his 'dad'.

As it turns out, his 'dad' was actually his maternal grandfather.
His 'aunt' was his biological mother; pregnant out-of-wedlock
and his grandparents adopted him as their own child.

This boy grew into a man who was
always restless,
always wandering,
always wondering, even in his later years.

I suppose he was looking for his biodad.
but his search for heritage and 'legitimacy'
sometimes distracted him from his other responsibilities in life.

Rape

Some women are raped by strangers they are unable to identify.
Some women are raped via knock-out drugs.

Horrible. Terrible. Awful.
I can't imagine how it feels to be the victim of rape
or the product of rape, though many people are.

I imagine it is very difficult to know that oneself is a child of rape.
Perhaps nobly, some mothers will declare promiscuity -
to protect the child from the stigma of being the result of rape.

***********************

And some young women are raped by someone they really know
like an older relative or neighbor.
They think they don't dare tell who -
so they just say they were raped and say no more about it.

******************************

And yet...there is a flip side to this.
Given human willingness to lie to get out of trouble,
some women, when caught in a promiscuous pregnancy,
will lie and say they were raped, when they weren't raped.

And somewhere down the line, those children may be forced to
consider themselves as a child of rape, and their dad then, is a criminal.

********************************************

Another point:
The world would be a better place if women didn't lie about being raped.
For one thing...if females never lied about being raped
we could sooner believe the accusations of true victims.

********************************************

A lot of sexual violence could be avoided by school kids doing staying home
and doing homework instead of hazardous unsupervised socializing.
My kids, both male and female, were forbidden to date until 18 years old.
UNKNOW FATHERLESSNESS

Anonymous Sex

Some women voluntarily engage in casual, anonymous sex.
There may have be alcohol or substance-abuse involved,
or a desire for weird stuff, or 'daddy-issues'.

There's not much more to say than that.
We know some men relish anonymous sex,
and apparently some women want that too.
It happens.
You may be the result of that.

Artificial insemination.

Guaranteed bio-fatherlessness,
with the ultimate level of control that one human being can have over another human being.

Human trafficking.
UNKNOWN FATHERLESSNESS

Someday...

We all exist somewhere forever.
According to how we deal with God.

I believe that someday all people will know who their bioparents are,
and why they did what they did.

...and we will realize that the absent parent is not always the main blame...
